Pour Quelques Étoiles by Bertrand Desprez

I found a photo book "Pour Quelques Étoiles" by Bertrand Desprez from my closet at the end of last year. Probably I got this at Galerie du Jour Agnès B in the late 90's. I was too young and foolish.

Winter

These pictures are not anything special. But I like to keep this cold scenes. I prefer being at home to going out, especially winter.

Mahorodou - Sougetsu, lucky cats in Gotokuji, new Year's Decorations and first sonow in 2016. I'm listening to some new tracks from my fave artists as usual.

British Shopping Week in Tokyo

Lola's Cup Cakes

Margaret Howell Cafe in Shibuya
Neal's Yard Stuff smells so good!

British Shopping Week is being held here in Tokyo, by The British Embassy and Lula Magazine. The members shops are offering the freebies or a special service. Last week I visited some of them in Shibuya and Harajyuku. One of the shops, Lola's Cupcakes from London recently has opened Tokyo store. The cupcakes are not too sweet and very light from all of the whipping. I have tried a lot of cupcakes, and these are by far my favorite! They are moist and flavorful, and the frosting is the best I have ever had. You may not wait in line for hours on weekday. Great for a little post shopping treat but on Saturdays there are a lot of people waiting. #SiGB2015

A Perfect Monet Moment

I would recommend Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands. Such a perfect Claude Monet moment.

A Different Light

Last month friends and I visit Hayama which is a beautiful seacoast town facing the Pacific Ocean. It's near one of the most famous tourist areas, Kamakura. The surrounding area has many good restaurants and Cafes. I'm not a person who likes to read Kinfolk magazine though. But I think this is a kind of Kinfolk believer's place.

Have a lovely weekend! x

August

 Bye bye August.
You suddenly disappear and leave me alone.

Grunge'n' Art

Recently I've been enjoy reading Grunge'n' Art magazine's blog and Instagram. Lia & Zebra create many very beautiful images. I'm a big girl now not a teenager. But I remember the fragile, dark and obscure feeling in youth.

Now we can order their zines on the web or purchase them at some Japanese book shops. Please check. x
Lia & Zebra, Thanks for your cutest letter. x

Blue

The English film maker Derek Jarman created the garden at Dungeness. It's so epic, not an usual garden that we can imagine ... kinda like holy place like his films. Someday I hope to own a little garden. The very small one is fine.

If you're reading this .... It's my birthday!

I'm quite lucky to have my friends. Thank you for your support all time. BBs

Drawings by Simon Milner from Is Tropical

The end of last year my kitty Tora passed away. He was almost 18 years old. I've been pretty devastated. I don't know why I like cat. Warm, fluffy, soft, all those images remind me of love and joy. I feel like I lost a part of my body. Have you lost anyone in your life?

I'm still bleeding and crying in my mind. But we never ever go back to the past and just go on the end. I might be in this dark cold place forever though. I want to move forward, finding little joys.

Recently i've been enjoying some things. One is a new song 'On My Way' by my fave band Is Tropical. I always have a very warm feeling. I guess this lyric is kinda good-bye song for someone. I'm not sure the real meaning of this track though. It could be a cure for my sadness.

Second is new Nero Magazine. There are a bunch of coolest people from King Krule to Ariel Pink. This is a thick magazine ever but worth reading.
