The Wes Anderson Collection Book Trailer

i've just ordered a book "The Wes Anderson Collection" by Abrams Books.
a worth buying, right??

Stay A little Longer @ Vacant

some ppl might say Tokyo's music scenes have been dying. i do think so in a way. it's true. but i know some young ppl are very interested in new music from other countries. my friend & i went to see Sapphire Slows, Nite Jewel & The Samps live at Vacant tyo last Sunday. it was presented by Big Love Records which is best record shop in the world.
their performances were super great and totally chill. i've never been to L.A.though, but i felt the air.
Sapphire Slows.
i have never seen the Japanese artist like her. she's quite unique. i'd like to listen to more songs.
Nite Jewel.
first, i felt she was smaller than expected.
one of my fave songs "One Second of Love" was quite beautiful.
i luv the live version arrangement.

The Samps.
it seemed strange to me that they did not play the instruments. but it was totally fun. i danced a lot.

thank you soooooo much! Big Love Records.
i was so glad that this great music event took place in tyo.

About

My name is Kyoko, which means apricot in Chinese characters. I grew up in Japan and Poland, and now I live in near Tokyo.

I work as an aromatherapist, but I'm preparing to move to London where I would like to work.

I take the the photographs here, usually with iPhone 4S. I sometimes use a film camera too, which is a Pentax MZ-50.

I started this blog in January 2011 to find a new perspective and improve my English writing skills.
Then very recently I've started a Tumblr about my favourite London based band Is Tropical. It's called BAD GIRLS DO CRY.

All of my photographs are copyright to me, and I would ask that you always credit and link them back here if you want to use them on your blog. if your blog has a lot of big-name advertising on it, i would ask that you send me an email first. if you want to use one for any other purpose, please email me.

If you want to ask me, please get in touch, my email is abricot26(at)gmail(dot)com

September

im busy working and thinking.
remembering this month, lots of things happened to my life.
first my friends and i went to Maison Kituné Party at Ageha Tokyo to see my fave band Is Tropical.
y'all know how much i love Is Tropical.
unfortunately we never knew where they were playing. cuz the venue was huge. we might miss the half of their show. that was super lame :/ but we could see them in the front low. then Dancing Anymore came, they asked us who could sing the song. i raised my hand with my hand-written lyric paper. but tbh i never expected they chose me. they made me sing on the stage. it was a surreal moment ever. my fangirling dream came true. i was so nervous but it was too fun. after the show they hugged me and stole my heart.
they were so sweet and lovely♡
i still can't believe the fact. best memory in my life!!!

 affogato time at Café Kitsuné
 at Eureka with Marico
 at Ageha Tokyo
party was over. the saddest moment.

second i've just changed my job. next week it starts. im so insecure now.
i have not achieved what i want and expected bright future so far.
but i feel it gets better.
maybe i will work in Japan by Sep 2014 and move to London.
it will be my biggest change.
